2.1 Skip Sizes and Pricing

We offer skips in different sizes to cater to both residential and commercial requirements. The pricing structure is based on the size of the skip, the duration of hire, and the type of waste being disposed of.

2.2 Delivery and Collection

Delivery and collection of skips are scheduled based on availability. Customers must be present at the delivery location to receive the skip and must ensure safe access for placement. Collection is arranged at the end of the hire period or upon request.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the skip is placed in a safe and suitable location. This includes having the necessary permissions if placed on public property.

Access to the collection point must be clear of obstacles.
Permits must be obtained if required by local authorities.
Safety precautions should be taken to prevent accidents during delivery and collection.

4. Usage Restrictions

The following items are prohibited from being disposed of in our skips:

Hazardous Waste: Chemicals, asbestos, batteries, and other hazardous materials.
Electronic Waste: Large appliances, electronics requiring special disposal.
Prohibited Items: Tires, paints, solvents, and other restricted materials.

Any attempt to dispose of prohibited items will result in additional charges and potential legal action.

5. Payment Terms

Payments must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.

5.1 Deposits

A deposit may be required for large or long-term hires. This deposit will be refunded upon safe return and inspection of the skip.

5.2 Late Returns

Late returns may incur additional charges based on the extended hire period. Customers will be notified in advance if a late return fee is applicable.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Customers may cancel their booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery without incurring a fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Refunds for deposits will be processed within 7 business days after the skip is returned and inspected.

7. Liability

Brimsdown Skip Hire is not liable for any damages or injuries that occur during the placement, use, or removal of the skip, except in cases of negligence on our part.

7.1 Insurance

Customers are encouraged to have appropriate insurance coverage for the use of our skips. The Company’s liability does not cover personal property or third-party claims.
